ROCKWOOD WEST PARTICIPATES

IN WMHA INDIO RALLY 2012

On January 10, 2012, eight members and one guest of Rockwood West met at the Spotlight 29 Casino in Indio.  Early on January 11th we lined up and proceeded to the fairgrounds to participate in the 2012 rally.    

 On Wednesday afternoon we set up a table with candy and a computer slide show for the Chapter Fair.  We had flyers for the April outing available as well as information on the blog to give to anyone interested.

 On Thursday afternoon our members participated in the parade.  After getting the float ready some of the group posed for pictures prior to getting in parade formation.  Everyone out did themselves in pirate costumes.

Everyone couldn't fit in the golf cart so we had walkers giving out candy along the parade route.











Our thanks to the Holloways for allowing us to use their golfcart and special thanks to Lin Chetelat and Lloyd Holloway for designing and making the float.  Everyone had a great time.
